Ballet
I desperately want to watch a professional ballet - I studied ballet until I went to university and am considering re-starting adult classes. I wasn't any good but I would love to see a real performance.
Opera
We were recently in discussion with friends about the fact that we are planning to see a ballet, and one of them recommended that we also organise a trip to the opera. Now, I'm a bit nervous about the whole world of opera, but I love theatre in general so maybe it's time to try it...
Cooking tapas
On our whistle-stop trip to Alicante last Autumn I treated myself to a cookbook. They had it in English and Spanish and I (slightly foolishly) insisted on buying the Spanish one. Now, whilst I do speak some Spanish (almost enough for basic shop/hotel/restaurant communication), I definitely don't know enough to make it through a recipe without my Spanish/English dictionary strapped to my side! It could be interesting...
Being part of a team
And I don't know where I will find the time for it, but I really want to get involved in a team sport. It's been on the list for a while (and probably will be for a while longer), so I guess I better get looking for a sport.

Fun to cook in another language.
I love ballet. Have only seen the Nutcracker but it was beautiful. I took lessons for fun too as an adult and still do some of the barre exercises occasionally.
Opera, not so much... but I did love the movie Amadeus... perhaps that is a start.
Love live theatre.
So fun to try new things I think.
Have you seen Les Miserables? That's the closest I've been to opera so far. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it actually ( but it is still technically a musical...) I've not seen Amadeus
Hmm you're making me think.... What would I like to do?
I'd like to visit Greece some day, but closer to home.... hmmm
I do have some pintrest recipes I'd like to try.
